Our sophomore effort, and I think you can hear how much more relaxed we are. Two years on from our debut, we stripped back the synths and let the guitars breathe. Recording at Kempston Street Studios—still finding its feet, like us—felt right for an album written during a difficult patch personally. The lyrics are more raw, more questioning. We wanted to develop our sound without losing what made us us. By the time we reached 'Don't', the closing track, something had shifted. It's the most vulnerable we've been, and somehow the most confident too.

Things Get Hazy After All These Years is a collection of songs that span different moments—some freshly written, others that have been waiting patiently for their turn for 20 years. When Alex Quinn, our producer, found some studio time in July, we jumped at it. Recording at Kempston Street again, but this time with a confidence we didn't have before. The deadline focused us; we knew what we wanted to say. These eleven tracks are honest accounts—some looking inward, some looking out at the world around us. We're not trying to be clever or obscure. Just writing truthfully about what we've lived and what we've seen. That's always been the point.
